Christmas at The New Free Store!
Our volunteer elves need space in our small store to prepare the Christmas shop!
Through the months of November and December we must limit donations to only:
*New Christmas gift items for adults and children
*Christmas Stockings for children and large coffee mugs for adults
*Small gifts to fit in stockings or adult gift mugs
*Holiday clothing for adults and children
*Winter outerwear for children - especially snowpants and boots
We will begin accepting donated winter clothing again as of January 4th!

We Are Celebrating!
Many thanks to all who have helped us reach FIVE years in our current location!
In October of 2016 The New Free Store opened it's doors at
1420 M28 East and we are still here!
Our mission to serve those in need has continued thanks to the
wonderful support from individual donors, area churches, service clubs and a
dedicated crew of resourceful volunteers.
We are so very grateful for our community's ongoing generosity!

The New Free Store will be OPEN
starting Wednesday, June 3rd, Noon-4:00 PM
Following the governor's guidelines, our limits are:
*Only 1 member per family inside the Store
*Only 4 shoppers total at one time
*Face masks must be worn
*children are encouraged to wait outside with a caregiver
We are pleased to offer virus protection products including
small bottles of hand sanitizer
homemade fabric face masks
small bottles of bleach
We are also again accepting donations on Tuesdays from 11:00 - 3:00 and any day the Store is open

Many thanks to Super One Foods in Marquette for allowing our hard working New Free Store volunteers bag groceries on Saturday, February 1st. Our collection jar for donations was quickly filled and we were most pleased to raise nearly enough funds to cover the rent for one month! New Free Store greeters met grocery customers at the door with a short list of needed cleaning or personal hygiene products and the Super One shoppers generously donated over $200 worth of toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, laundry soap, dish soap and hand soap! In addition, Mans, the Super One assistant manager, donated a large quantity of toilet paper and hand soap. We are very appreciative of the generosity of our volunteers, Super One employees and the Super One shoppers!
